Dr. Greg Daniel and WNY Immediate Care Open Third Location

If you’ve ever had to be taken to the doctor’s office or emergency room at a busy hospital, there is a good chance, you didn’t have the greatest experience. Hospital emergency rooms become crowded and the infirmed may have to wait hours to be seen. The associates at WNY Immediate Care identified this problem and presented a solution: expeditious service for non life threatening ailments. WNY Immediate Care centers fall under the umbrella of Exigence, LLC (along with Buffalo Emergency Associates and Pulse Occupational Medicine), the creation of physician philanthropist and entrepreneur Dr. Greg Daniel.

In 2008, Dr. Greg Daniel and Exigence announced the opening its third Immediate Care location in Orchard Park, New York. The premier center was opened in 2005 at 7616 Transit Road in Amherst, New York, followed by the second location erected at 2099 Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst.

The third WNY Immediate Care location on Niagara Falls Blvd. was described as a “new-build at 5,800 square feet,” was privately financed by Dr. Greg Daniel and others after the Amherst Industrial Development Agency declined to provide public funds. Paperwork indicates that the new center was a $2.2 million project. Here, residents of Western New York dealing with acute injuries (cold or flu symptoms, minor burns or cuts, strained muscles, animal or insect bites, etc) can come to a WNY Immediate Care facility and be out within an hour instead of going to a traditional hospital where they could be waiting for long periods of time. The citizens of Western New York have been blessed with a true convenience in healthcare delivery.
